Pom-poms are a great embellishment for scarves, home furnishing and even paper crafts, and rumour has it that no woolly hat is complete without a big fluffy pom-pom on top! Everyone knows how to make pom-poms using the cardboard circle method – and I’ve made many this way.
But avid pom-pom makers will be pleased to know that there’s a less fiddly way of creating these little round spheres of fun. A handy pom-pom maker by Clover makes this task ultra easy. Just wrap the wool around the pair of hinged arches before cutting and tying off as normal. And there you have it – the most amazing pom-poms ever.
The pom-pom makers come in different sizes and are available from Hobbycraft, Amazon and independent craft stores.
